Terms of Use
Effective June 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of the LoafNote app for iPhone. By downloading or using LoafNote, you agree to them.
The service
LoafNote is a sourdough baking companion: starter tracking, bake timers, recipes, and a bake log. It provides general baking guidance and tooling. It is not a substitute for your own judgment about food safety and preparation, and baking results are your responsibility.
Subscriptions
Some LoafNote features require a paid subscription, purchased as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple.
- The subscription name, price, and length are shown in the app before you purchase and on the App Store product page.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then LoafNote.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. Request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your content
Your starters, recipes, bakes, notes, and photos belong to you. They are stored on your device, and you are responsible for keeping your device backed up. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse LoafNote: do not attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its services, or use it in violation of applicable law.
Intellectual property
LoafNote, including its design, artwork, and software, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to the LoafNote name or branding.
Disclaimers
LoafNote is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoafNote and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
