Common questions

Do my timers keep running if I lock my phone?

Yes. Active bake steps run a Live Activity on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, and a notification chimes when the step ends. You do not need to keep the app open.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. There is no account and no cloud sync, so your starters, recipes, and bakes never leave your phone. This also means we cannot restore data from a deleted app, so think twice before deleting.

How do I import a recipe?

Paste a recipe URL from any food blog into Recipes, then Import. LoafNote extracts the ingredients and steps and shows you the result for review before anything is saved.

Can I change a recipe in the middle of a bake?

Yes. Tap Edit on any step or on the ingredients during an active bake. Changes apply to the bake in progress and update the saved recipe for next time. Edits to already completed steps update the recipe only, your record of what actually happened stays as it happened.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then LoafNote. You can change or cancel there at any time.
